I spent the day at the American Film Institute’s Digital Content Festival…sweating. It’s like 90 degrees here and their old theater could barely keep up with the heat. On top of that, the breaks were all outside. I sweated…a lot. We watched a bunch of presentations on this last year’s big digital media projects and the one thing I came away with was the understanding that almost everybody in technology, even the marketers, are horrible speech givers. I about fell asleep on every demonstration, except maybe the intro by Todd Wagner (Producer of Good Night, and Good Luck) and the girl from Current.TV.

I’m in town for one more day before heading back to Seattle and starting my bachelor party. woohoo!
