It’s a long story, but we’ve change our honeymoon itin a bit. We left Sri Lanka 6 days early and spent the last couple of days in Singapore, which has turned out to be surprisingly fun. I kind of wish we had another day here, but the IMF conference that gets underway in full force tomorrow sent hotel rates sk-rocketing. So, we’re off to spend a week in Tokyo. We’re flying by the seat of our pants here, arranging hotels and flights the day before of day of. As of right now, we have two nights booked in Tokyo and think we might take a side excursion to Nagoya or Kyoto.

So after a bit of a shaky start to the honeymoon, the trip is turning into a lot of fun, though maybe not the tropical paradise that people usually connect with a honeymoon.
