Just flew in to KC today for a meeting tomorrow morning and hopefully back to Seattle in time to make my Portuguese class on Wednesday night.

I checked into the Embassy Suites today, not the brand I usually stay at, and am surprised that while my room is nice, it doesn’t have a desk and it isn’t a suite. I thought all Embassy Suites rooms were suites? I thought about complaining because it was one of the reason I’m staying here and typing in bed is sort of a pain for long periods of time.

Do any of you ever complain to the hotel front desk in an effort to get a better room?
